Privacy Policy

Strivio ("Strivio", "we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile app and website that connect fitness coaches with their clients — client rosters, workout and nutrition programs, progress tracking, messaging, and scheduling. This policy explains what information we collect through the Strivio app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using Strivio, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use Strivio.
1. Information We Collect
Account & profile information
Name, email address, profile photo, and role (coach or client). If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the account identifier and tokens needed to authenticate you. We also keep session data such as IP address, device/browser user agent, and login timestamps for security purposes.
Health, fitness & program data
Coach-assigned assessments (e.g. measurements, goals, and other fields a coach asks you to fill in), workout plans, exercise templates, nutrition/food logs, task checklists, weekly/monthly compliance stats, and session schedules. This is health and fitness information you or your coach enter into the app.
Photos & media
Profile pictures, progress photos, and images shared in chat or assessments. Images are stored with our cloud storage provider and linked to your account.
Messages & communications
Direct messages between coaches and clients sent through in-app chat, delivered in real time and stored so conversation history is available to both participants.
Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, purchase and entitlement events are processed through our subscription management provider (RevenueCat). We receive subscription status, not your payment card details.
Push notifications & device data
If you enable notifications, we store a device push token to deliver alerts (new messages, task reminders, connection requests, etc.). We also process standard app usage and diagnostic data to keep the service reliable.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the core coaching experience: rosters, programs, assessments, and scheduling.
- Enable messaging and notifications.
- Maintain account security, detect abuse, and enforce our terms.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
- Improve and troubleshoot the app through aggregated usage data.
3. How We Share Information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Between coach and client. If you're a client, the coach(es) you connect with can see the data you or they enter (profile, assessments, progress, messages). If you're a coach, your connected clients can see your profile and the messages/content you share with them.
- Service providers. Cloud hosting and storage, push notification delivery, and subscription management (RevenueCat) — each only receives what it needs to perform its function.
- Legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Strivio, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Strivio is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records — such as subscription history — may be retained longer where we have a legal or accounting obligation to do so. Deleted content (e.g. removed assessments) may persist briefly in backups before being purged.
5. Your Rights & Choices
- Access, update, or correct your profile information from within the app.
- Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us.
- Turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, CCPA, or the Philippine Data Privacy Act, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
6. Children's Privacy
Strivio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Strivio evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by other reasonable means before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
